I chose my project by what I could shoot at school. I figured the hallway would be interesting because of the different angles and the big window on the left. I ended up using about eight different pictures for the hallway. The only challenge I really had was making sure the image wasn't to busy and that people could still see it's the hallway. If I was able to do this project differently, I might have chosen something more interesting but I still like how it turned out.

The message I want to convey is my love of music and what it means to me. I desaturated the background and brightened up the CD and headphones to show that they are an important highlight to me. Music has helped me grow as a person and every note of each song I love has a special place in my heart. Especially the album shown which is Vessel by Twenty One Pilots. Every song on this album has helped me through the toughest parts of my life as have many others, these just really started my love for music.

original image  After tutorial 1 This tutorial didn't exactly turn out the way I thought but I still like it anyway. This tutorial was one called Double Exposure and it combines two images. The tutorial was a bit difficult to follow so I did somethings my own way. It came out pretty well compared to the tutorial picture. It looked very similar. 

The quality of my work in semester one was not exactly the best I could have done. I did try my best on a lot of the though. almost all of my images were taken on my phone so the quality is pretty good, but not as much as an actual camera. Some were a small bit blurry but still good enough. I did pay attention to the objective of the assignment, but I didn't take it further. Thats something I want to fix in this new semester. I did struggle sometimes with index prints with some assignments because some of the assignments were difficult to get many pictures for. I also had a small bit of trouble turning things in because some assignments took me a bit longer than others but I still turned just about all of them in. I wish I had put more effort into my shots. I did try to find the most convenient place for pictures as well. I also gave up on shots that were too difficult. I've even given up on a project or two because it was too difficult. Thats also something I want to change ...
